Long Island Fire Booking Policy

Long Island Fire Youth Softball Travel Program / Booking & Cancellation Policy We are committed to providing a well-organized, competitive, and fun experience for all invited travel athletes and families. To ensure fairness and proper planning, the following booking and cancellation policies apply: 1. Registration & Payment A non-refundable Payment of $400 is required to secure your child’s roster spot. This is a full calendar year commitment of $1600. $400 is to be paid prior to the start of each season. (2017 is $325 per season and $1300 for the year) If you would like to pay in full we will accept the remainder as Venmo and provide coupon codes for the upcoming registration cycles. Payments must be made online (unless extenuating circumstances approved by the board) 2. Cancellations by Families Before Season Start (10+ days prior): Processing fees are non-refundable. Any additional payments will be refunded. Within 10 days of Season Start: 50% of total program fees are refundable. After Season Begins: No refunds will be issued once practices, games, or tournaments have started. 3. Missed Practices, Games, or Tournaments Refunds or credits will not be given for missed practices, games, or tournaments due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or injury. Families are encouraged to notify coaches as early as possible if a player cannot attend an event. 4. Program Cancellations In the event the organization cancels a season, camp, or tournament (due to low enrollment, weather, facility closures, or other unforeseen circumstances), families will receive either: A prorated refund for unused services, or a program credit to be applied to future seasons or camps. 5. Weather & Tournament Policies Outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and tournament organizer decisions. Refunds are not guaranteed if tournaments are shortened or canceled due to weather. We will make every effort to reschedule practices and games where possible. 6. Player Withdrawal / Removal Voluntary withdrawal after the season begins does not qualify for a refund. Players dismissed from the program for disciplinary reasons or violation of the Code of Conduct are not eligible for a refund. 7. Travel & Accommodation Families are responsible for all player travel, lodging, and meal expenses unless otherwise specified. Tournament schedules are subject to change, and families are encouraged to book refundable or flexible travel accommodations.
